RadRails and Windows

Just as a reminder: Installing Typo 4.0 doesn't resolve its dependency to the sqlite3 header files correctly (at least not on my Ubuntu Breezy Badger).
I ran into the Rails incompatibility with Ruby 1.8.3 on Ubuntu Breezy again and installed a Ruby 1.8.4 backport.
I tried rewriting Wordpress in Rails out of curiosity and ended up writing a small plugin for aliasing database column names.
I followed a tutorial and had Rails running on Ubuntu Breezy with Apache 2 and FCGI two hours later.
